Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum is Maison Francis Kurkdjian deepening its own signature composition. Where the Eau de Parfum is airy and radiant, the Extrait runs denser and warmer, with a more balsamic, resinous trail.
Bitter almond and saffron open the composition, intertwined with Egyptian jasmine and Virginia cedar at the heart. The base is the warm, recognizable core of the fragrance: ambergris, woody notes, ambroxan, cashmeran, and musk, drawn into a darker register than the EDP ever reaches.
