What We Carry
A shelf tells you what a shop believes in. Ours is deliberately narrow. We do not try to carry everything, and that is the point. What follows is exactly what you will find here, so you know what to expect before you browse.
Two concentrations, and only two
Fragrance Box carries Eau de Parfum (EDP) and Extrait de Parfum (Extrait). That is the whole shelf. We do not sell Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, or splash-style formats, even where a scent happens to have the word Cologne in its name.
- Eau de Parfum (EDP). Rich, balanced, and long lasting. This is the modern default for a full, wearable scent, and it is our standard tier.
- Extrait de Parfum (Extrait). The richest, most tenacious concentration we offer, and our highest tier. It tends to sit closer to the skin and is usually worn in a lighter hand.
One thing worth clearing up: "Parfum," "Pure Parfum," and "Extrait de Parfum" all name the same tier. Extrait is simply the fuller name. It is the top, and nothing sits above it here. If you want the difference laid out in full, read EDP and Extrait, the Two Tiers We Carry.
Whether a given bottle is EDP or Extrait is stated on its own product page. Browse the full collection at the homepage, which is the live shelf itself.
Designer and niche, side by side
The collection spans both designer and niche perfumery. Designer houses come from the larger fashion and beauty world and are built to please broadly. Niche houses are smaller and perfume-first, and they tend to take more creative risk. We carry both because a good wardrobe usually wants both, and neither one is automatically better than the other.
You will find recognizable houses such as Louis Vuitton, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Parfums de Marly, Creed, Tom Ford, BDK, Xerjoff, and Penhaligon's, alongside others in the same register. The lineup rotates as scents come and go, so the truest answer to "do you carry X" is always the live collection rather than any fixed list. For a fuller tour of the perfumers on the shelf, see The Houses We Carry. If the niche versus designer distinction is new to you, Niche and Designer, What the Words Mean breaks it down.
What each bottle is, and what a box is
Every fragrance in the collection is a genuine, full strength bottle from an established house. A box holds 30 fragrances, one for each day, curated from the rotating collection. You can take a box as a one time purchase or as a monthly subscription, and you can build it around EDP or around Extrait. An Extrait box is a curated mix of Extrait and EDP, rounded out with EDP so the box always stays full at 30. An EDP box contains EDP only.
Some fragrances are marked Exclusive in the catalog. These carry an added surcharge on top of the box. The surcharge is a real feature, but its amount varies per fragrance, so you will always see it on the live product page rather than quoted here. For what that label means and how we apply it, read What Exclusive Means.
Where the details live
Every price, surcharge, shipping cost, and reservation term is shown on the live pages, never fixed in this guide, because those numbers change. To see the current shelf and what a box costs, visit the collection at the homepage and start a box at /order, or reserve an upcoming release at /pre-order.
If you are still deciding what suits you, a calm place to begin is the collection itself. Open the homepage, follow a note or a house you already love, and read a few product pages end to end. When a question comes up that a page does not answer, we are a message away at [email protected].
