How to Place an Order
Placing an order with Fragrance Box takes only a few considered choices. You are not filling a cart bottle by bottle. You are building a box of 30 fragrances, one for each day, curated from the rotating collection. This guide walks you through the flow from first click to confirmed order, so you know exactly what each step is asking.
Before you begin
Everything starts with the collection. The homepage is the live collection itself, so browse the fragrances at the collection to get a feel for the houses, tiers, and notes we carry. Each fragrance has its own page, where you can read its house, tier, launch year, and its top, heart, and base notes. You do not need an account to explore, but signing in lets you save favorites and see your order history later from your dashboard. It is worth doing before you order.
Building your box
When you are ready, go to the box order wizard at the order page. The wizard asks you to make a handful of clear choices:
- Concentration tier. Choose EDP (Eau de Parfum) or Extrait (Extrait de Parfum), the highest tier we carry. An EDP box contains EDP only. An Extrait box is a curated mix of Extrait and EDP, rounded out with EDP so the box always stays full at 30 fragrances.
- Audience rotation. Choose the rotation that matches who the box is for.
- Size. Choose the size that suits you.
- Plan. Choose a one time box or a monthly subscription. A subscription can be cancelled or paused later, and you manage it from your dashboard.
Take your time here. These four choices shape the character of every box you receive, and you can always come back to the wizard to adjust before you check out. Any price tied to a tier, size, or plan varies, so see the live figures on the order page.
Checkout and confirmation
Checkout runs through Stripe, so payment is handled securely at the final step. Enter your details, review your choices, and complete the payment. For more on what to expect at this stage, see Checkout and Payment.
After payment, you land on the order confirmation page. This page re-verifies your checkout session on our side rather than trusting the link, then shows a confirmed order with a confirmation number, your curated fragrances, and your shipping details. Shipping methods, costs, and times vary by your choices and location, so the exact figures appear live at checkout on the order page, and are covered in Shipping Options and Costs.
One thing worth knowing up front: fragrance is a rotating collection, so a specific scent can occasionally become unavailable. When that happens we ask you to choose a like for like replacement, and if you do not choose within a short window, we auto assign a comparable alternative in the same character so your box can still be completed and shipped. We never promise an exact bottle. We substitute a comparable one when it is needed. The full detail lives in How Substitutions Work.
After you order
Once your order is placed, you can follow it from your dashboard. Tracking Your Order shows where your shipment stands, and Order Status Explained walks through what each stage means from placed to shipped.
