Once your box is curated, the last thing between you and it is the trip to your door. Shipping on Fragrance Box is straightforward, but the specifics belong to your order, so this article tells you how it works and, more importantly, where to see the exact options, costs, and times for your address.

Where shipping is shown

Shipping methods, their costs, and their delivery times all vary, and they are set live at checkout rather than quoted here. You choose from the available options during the box order wizard, so the real figures for your address appear as you go through the order flow. Nothing on this page is a substitute for what you see there. The live options reflect your location and the box you are building, which is why they are the single source of truth for what you will pay and how long it will take.

After payment, your confirmation at the order success page restates the shipping details for that order, including the method you selected. If you ever want to double check what you chose, that confirmation and your account are where to look, not a general figure.

Choosing a shipping option

The box order wizard walks you through the parts of your order in sequence: the concentration tier, the audience rotation, the size, and whether the box is a one time purchase or a monthly subscription. Shipping is presented alongside these choices, so you select a method the same way you make every other decision, by seeing what is available and picking what suits you.

If more than one speed is offered, a faster option will read as such at checkout, with its own cost shown next to it. Whether express or expedited delivery is available for your address, and what it costs, varies, so let the live page tell you. Choose calmly. A note for subscribers. A monthly box is a recurring order, and its shipping follows the method and details tied to the subscription. As with everything else here, the terms that apply to your subscription are the ones shown on your live order, not a number in this article.

Pre-orders and launch shipping

Pre-orders work a little differently, because a reservation is not a charge. When you reserve through the pre-order flow, you are holding a spot in the first launch batch rather than buying a box today. Reservations ship with that first batch, and the exact shipping window is shared at launch rather than promised in advance. A reservation is not a commitment to buy, and you can cancel any time before payment, so there is no shipping cost to worry about until you decide to order.

After it ships

Once your order is on its way, you follow it from your account. Your order history and each order's detail live in your dashboard, where a tracking number appears as soon as it is added. Because the collection rotates, a specific scent can occasionally become unavailable before your box ships. When that happens, you are asked to choose a like for like replacement, and if you do not choose within a short window, a comparable alternative in the same character is assigned so your box can be completed and sent. This keeps your shipment on track, and we never promise an exact bottle, only a comparable one when it is needed.
